Recycled Pathway Garden
Here we have used recycled broken concrete to form a pathway, recycled pallets to build a fence, and various other recycled bits and pieces for planting. As the wood chips along the pathway breakdown we will also be able to plant directly into the soil.
This area was unused before but now has become the area due to tree shelter that we placed our hen house. We also transformed part of the raised section into a vegetable garden and extended the garden down onto the lawn area using recycled tyres.
This area also has our extendable clothes line and an emergency solar panel. The top of the retaining wall and directly underneath was always overgrown and hard to maintain. Gradually I am planting grasses, lavender and Chilian Guava along the top to reduce weeds.
