This Recipe is very popular with our family and we have exchanged making this for store purchased takeaways. We used to buy takeaways at least once a fortnight but now we only do so every 8 weeks. The money saved goes into our pantry instead.
Ingredients Fries: 5-6 Large Potatoes, Olive Oil, Pink Salt
Instructions: 1. Cut into fries 2. Put into a tea towel and dry them off slightly to absorb the excess starch. 3. Put onto an oven tray and drizzle with olive oil. Massage the oil into the fries 4. Cook for approximately 25-30 minutes at 200oC
Ingredients Pizza: Turkish Pizza Bases (pack contains 3 large thin pizza bases) 1 Tin of Pineapple Pieces,
1 Portion of Bacon Pieces defrosted, 1 Onion, Tomato Sauce, Spinach or Silver-beet, 1 cup of grated cheese,
Any mushrooms or tomatoes who may have in the fridge that need using up
Instructions: 1. Spread 2 tablespoons of tomato sauce, chutney, sweet chilli sauce, tomato paste or similar over the top of the pizza base which has been placed on a large oven tray. Use one tray per pizza. Two can usually be cooked at the same time but you may have to switch them around in the oven half way through cooking. 2. Layer pineapple pieces, onion, bacon pieces, any other items like tomatoes, mushrooms etc on top. 3. Cut a few leaves of spinach or silver beet into small pieces and layer on top of the other ingredients. 4. Spread the grated cheese over the top of the entire pizza. Cut parsley over the top if desired.
5. Bake for approximately 20-25 minutes at 200oC.
Ingredients Salad: Any lettuce, spinach, silver beet, parsley, celery leaves Cut a few leaves up and drizzle a little olive oil over. Sprinkle with Pink Salt and Ground Pepper.
